Aaron Strumpel is an artist currently from Boulder, CO.  He’s recorded with Enter the Worship Circle on two different albums, Chair and Mic Vol 2 and Fourth Circle.  His solo debut, Elephants, won the Bandspotting Competition at the Festival of Faith and Arts at Calvin College in 2009 and has propelled him into another category of experimental production and recording.  He’s comfortable in the studio as an engineer and producer and equally comfortable assisting and coaching songwriting and general artistic creativity.  While he’s capable of performing on every instrument, his strong suits include trumpet, vocals, and acoustic/electric guitar.  He has a taste for the fantastical and fringe, so you’re free to use him either as spice or definition.

He has produced for The Blackthorn Project, Kate Hurley, Josh Rosen/Josh Garrels, The Emporiums.

Brian Hobson was raised by hippies. Music loving, Volkswagen driving, free wheeling hippies who amassed an enormous record collection. He considers himself lucky he wasn’t named Feather Moon Hobson. But we digress. Brian’s earliest musical memories include everything from Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney and Wings to Kung Fu Fighting and that “discoey” version of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony. As Brian grew older, his love for diverse, eclectic music continued. In his high school years he played drums in cover bands for his summer job and went on to study at the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho. After graduation with a bachelor’s degree in Percussion Performance, Brian joined the Air Force band where he performed with the Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble, Dixieland band, Jazz combo, Top 40 band, etc, etc. Since then he has enjoyed playing live and working in the studio, bringing his diverse experience to each project. He believes strongly in serving the song first and has only played one drum solo in his career and that was under extreme duress. Brian was actually born without an ego and is using a loaner currently. He owns all kinds of fun, vintage and contemporary gear and is very picky about providing the perfect tones for your project. Please take some time to listen to the samples of the different things Brian has done to see if he would be a fit for your songs.
