Aubrea Alford started playing piano at the age of 5 and violin at the age of 8, establishing a strong foundation in classical music. However, it was during college when she fell in love with improvising in jazz, folk, and rock. Since then, she has toured all over the country as an active performer and recording artist, playing violin and piano in various bands, venues, and settings. Aubrea’s love of many different genres, along with her vast experience, help create a unique aspect to her parts that will give your music exactly what it craves.

Laurie Thornton

Click here to start working with Laurie.

Classically trained in both violin and viola and self-taught on cello, Laurie Thornton has found her current recording niche in tracking string sections. While she sight-reads charts and sheet music quickly and with ease, she most enjoys recording improvised, layered string sections that tell a story, that melt with the other instruments, and that stretch the boundaries of chord structure just the slightest bit.  It is her ability to adapt to any style while maintaining her own signature sound that has made her a sought-after performer both on-stage and in the studio.

As a vocalist, Laurie’s warm and sweet voice will give your track the hug it’s been waiting for.
